[SOLVED] Newbie (ish) Help - Missing cores on VM's???

Hey folks,

hoping someone can help me make sense of the following. I have limited experience of Proxmox but have IT background and am getting there :)

Fresh Proxmox 8 install on HP Elitedesk 800 G4 Core i5 8500.

But when I create VM's I cant change the core count (its fixed at 1). I would have expected to be able to select between 1-6. What's this newbie missing please?

Well know don't I feel a clown :) I really don't know why I didn't try that. I suppose I was expecting it to be auto-populated and the arrows to select. Thanks for taking the time to help out - it was holding me back from next steps.

Well, the little arrows in the input field should also work in a similar manner, for incrementing/decrementing the current value.

In any case, you can finally mark the thread as SOLVED, by editing your first post - there's a dropdown near the title field for that.
