Hi guys,
I have just ordered a new PC which will have 2 x 1gb NVMe drives along with an 8tb HDD (I will add to this as and when I need to). I Plan to install Proxmox on 1 NVMe and any vms and containers on the other, does that sound ok?
I currently have windows running on a PC with plex along with Virtual Box running Home Assistant. I'm looking to seperate all 3 into their own vms / containers.
I would like to use Proxmox but I'm confused as to how I would share the files on the HDD between each vm / container. I would also want to be able to access certain folders from my laptop.
I've read up a bit on samba but would this be the best way to do it? I'm looking for fast transfer rates especially when using plex.
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction?
