Hey,

I have a Proxmox server running for a little while now and upgraded last week my home network from a single all-in-one router from Tplink to the Omada setup. I thought I could just plug the ethernet cable from the old server and plug it in the Omada switch but this is sadly not the case. It appears on the interface with the right Mac address but it doesn't get an IP address. I also tried to bind an IP ardress to the Mac but this did not help. The port on the switch lets through all trafic, with the binding I have it a VLAN.
Had someone the same problem or what can i do to trouble shoot?
yes i rebooted everyting ;)

edit: I have the oc200 controller, sg2008p switch, eap 613 and er605.
thanks !

The Omada setup consists of which components?

After a fez hours i found it!
nano /etc/network/interfaces
nano /etc/hosts
nano /etc/resolv.conf
Here you need to change the ip addresses and gateways
