that annoucement is about -10 version, not -11 that is currently offered.. ;)
we already upgraded to -10 on weekend, but now we got -11 offered ;)

Ah, I see - sorry. The new versions just fixes a problem with ubuntu VM guests. It is fully binary kompatible with your version.

Fantastic Thanks very much.Silly question but building the gmirror module into the kernel this way will still allow me to boot from the root filesystem - which is on the gmirror? chicken and egg problem..
