new install nfs connection error : timeout

Hello all,

I currently have pve 7.2-7 running on a server and connecting to nfs storage on truenas scale, works perfectly - always has.

I have set up another server with a fresh install of pve 7.2-7 and I cannot create nfs storage on the same truenas scale nfs export/s with the gui. I receive "connection error : timeout" after about 30sec.

I have tried to mount using cli with no luck - no errors just flashing cursor waiting for something.

I can mount smb storage to the same truenas scale from new and old pve.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on or where to start fault finding.

I have managed to work out that in my case its not a proxmox issue as I can connect to nfs on another truenas scale machine without issue.
