I have spent time getting this set up on my dell r620 server which has 4 SFP+ ports and 4 ethernet ports, but I'm a noob and I don't really know what to do. I booted this and it was working, and I was able to access it through the web interface fine. I turned off the server and upgraded the CPUs (dual e5 2690 to single e5 2680v2) and removed an SFP+ card bc I don't need it at the moment. After booting it wasn't able to connect to the internet, and this is still a problem after the card was put back in. Any help?

Hi,
please check if your interface got renamed after removing the PCIe card. You will find the network configuration in /etc/network/interfaces. ip addr show will give you a list of interfaces and their current status.
