Hi,
we have successfully installed Proxmox 1.3 on a test server for testing purposes.
Would like to know whether it is possible to configure an internal VLAN that's not connected to any of the physica NICS on the server. This will make this VLAN some what secured and unreachable from the outside world.
I have seen the Bonding tutorial and I know how to creat a Bond group and bind or remove NICs to that group but not sure what a Bond group does.
I am suspecting that if we create a bond group and not attach it to any NIC that will be an internal VLAN inside the server.
Once this is sorted out, if we then build a VM using whichever technology (OpenVZ or KVM) can we configure 2 NICs on that VM one of them goes to Bond0 and the other goes to Bond1? is that how is it done?
thanks for your support.
