My server has an IP with DHCP, and both my router and the machine show the same IP, but the web address isn’t reachable, and I can’t ping 1.1.1.1 or anything else including my routers ip from the main server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The IP address of your Proxmox is not in the same subnet as your gateway; are you sure that is correct?
You claimed your Proxmox uses DHCP but it is not configured for DHCP; are you sure that is correct?
You are using 100.0.1.x but that is not a private/local subnet; are you sure that is correct?
Are you sure that 100.0.0.1 is the IP address of your router? What is the IP address (and subnet) of other computers that you woudl like to use to manage Proxmox?

Hi,

I have updated my subnet and all network infra to properly match, as I was unaware of this. I have reattached my new results below, as I am still getting the same error.

My network has a gateway of 10.100.0.1
It has a broadcast IP of 10.100.1.255
The ip range is 10.100.0.11 through 10.100.1.254
and the subnet mask is 255.255.254.0

I have only one cable now, just need to update that graphic. I can ping 10.100.0.1 but not 1.1.1.1 or any internet facing thing, and cannot ssh or access the web ui

Does "ping -n 1.1.1.1" give any kind of an error message or does it just sit there? What is the IP of the machine you are using to access ssh and web GUI? Finally, post output of "ip a" and "ip r" again with your current configuration.

The name enx5ef... seems kind of odd as well. What kind of port is that? Any idea why IPv4 link-local addresses (169.254.x.y) are being assigned to some of your ports?

Sounds like your router is blocking traffic (or simply not routing it) for the Proxmox system. This sometimes happens when the static IP address is inside the DHCP range of a router.
