I installed the PDM .9 Beta as a Proxmox server VM (evenutally will be separated), and the install went cleanly through no errors.
At the VM level I selected the e1000e device as the network hardware. Dont have the VirtIO drivers installed yet.
I have the correct network information for network setup.
The interface got installed as a ens18 device and not a vmbr0, like the proxmox server was.
Yes, I can get to the Proxmox server on :8006 or I could not have installed the PDM as a VM.
There is No firewal selected on any of network devices, I could find on the PDM VM. The Network configuration on the VM says e1000e=<MAC>,bridge=vmbr0
No Firewall on the Proxmox Server either.
I hagve tried a ifup ens18. rebooted the server.double checked the ip is not in use. no success.
