Hi,
My proxmox was fully functionell until I did a reboot after running this line.
bash -c "$(wget -qLO - https://github.com/tteck/Proxmox/raw/main/misc/post-pve-install.sh)"
Then I made a reboot. Nothing else was done.

The network led´s for link activity turns black when proxmox starts.

Dmesg give these errors

I have tried to load older kernels without success.
When I´m at this promt the network activiy led are flashing but once one of below lines starts the network link goes down.

First of, please don't just run random scripts off the internet on your box, without knowing exactly what they do.
From a quick look it seems to just run an apt dist-upgrade - but again, don't just run random scripts.

Can you please the output of pveversion -v and especially ip a?
That should help investigate this problem further.

Hi, thank you for the advice. I folllowed a guide that I thought should work but I was naive.
Here are the outputs from the commands.

Hey longlegg,

Try this:
First check your repositories in: /etc/apt/sources.list
and if applicable in: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
If you need a configuration example, you should read:
https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Upgrade_from_7_to_8
Especially check section: Add the Proxmox VE 8 Package Repository
Then you may follow:
https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/proxmox-update-issue-not-correctly-installed.32245/

Hope this will help...

P.S. Pls. paste the output of cli commands using the editors' code-function and not as screenshot.
If you want to edit it, redirect it into a file and paste the content using the code-function or attach the file.

Hi and thank you, I guess I can somehow connect a USB stick and mount it and copy the output to the USB but have not figure out it yet so it was easier for me with screenshot since I only can not use remote putty.
/etc/apt/sources.list had 3 lines.
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/ did not exist.

I took a chance and run apt --fix-broken install and the network come back so now I can access the webgui and SSH to the proxmox.
I'm now on pve-manager/8.1.4/ec5affc9e41f1d79 (running kernel: 6.5.11-7-pve)
