need help with DNSBL Configuration

Hi

We are seeing messages like URIBL_DBL_BLOCKED_OPENDNS 0.001 ADMINISTRATOR NOTICE: The query to dbl.spamhaus.org was blocked due to usage of an open resolver. See https://www.spamhaus.org/returnc/pub/ [info.cohesity.com,cohesity.com] and it seems nothing is getting blocked. We went into the mail proxy settings and put zen.spamhaus.org=127.0.0.[2..11]*3 in there, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Any advice? Thanks.

Bruce

Hallo

The page quoted says it all:
You use the Spamhaus DNS Real-Time Blocklist (DSBRBL).
But you have exceeded your access quota.
You can get a free account and a key to get free access.
You'll get a unique server name that you can then use in PMG instead of the generic one you are using.

My associate tells me that the zen.spamhaus.org is assigned to the postfix parameter dnsbl_sites, on pmg's Configuring Mailproxy options tab. We have not configured the realtime blocklist at dbl.spamhaus.org anywhere. This is the source of our confusion.
