Need Help To Config Network

I've just had a fresh installation of proxmox 4.4 but it cannot connect to the network system. When i run ip link show i get this.

mtu 1500 qdisc mq master vmbr0 state DOWN mode DEFAULT group

I think it should be vmbr0 state UP mode DEFAULT
