Need advise for installing mail server on Proxmox VE

Hi Friends,

I need to use Proxmox to vitualize my zimbra server which will have around 1000 users and inbound/outbound concurrent mail count would be 8000. Plus i need a HA functionality where if one servers goes down another can pick it up.

So friends can yo suggest what option and settings should be opted for best performance?

Zimbra Collaboration Server Starter, Standard or Pro Edition come with clustering and HA features - so simply install a Zimbra cluster in your PVE environment

Nah, starting with Zimbra 8.0 inbuilt clustering functionality have been removed and only VMware-HA is supported hence wondering online migration can be used? but since its an mail server and mail count would be something around 8k I am more concern about I/O hence wanted to know which disk and what options should be chosen while configuring machine with PVE
