Hi all

I suppose that this could not be right place for this topic but Im not sure whre should I post this.
So please point me to the right place if Im right :)

Anyway

I want to warn some of You about Microsoft Update KB968389
Today when I logged to remote desktop on my KVM'ized Windows XP i saw beautiful nag screen
winxp_kvm_before_crash.png

I clicked on Restart Now and Windows crashed.
After reboot I have "missing or corrupt ntfs.sys" error.
I tried to recover from Windows boot CD but that won't work.

This is completely repeatable (I tried three times). Finally when I restored my backup - that screen shows again but this time I clicked Restart Later. Then I removed KB968389 update and then I restarted my windows and It boots up properly.

I just want to warn You - maybe I'll save someone ;)

Maybe some of You had similar crashes of Windows XP ?
