I have the no subscription installed and this morning it looked like there was a large update so I tried updating but only got caught in a loop getting a lot of "Ign:1 through 21" messages". I ran nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pve-no-subscription.list and nothing was there. I added deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve bookworm pve-no-subscription,ran apt-get update and all was well again. How could that have gone missing? Updates in the past have been flawless.

Generally, the /etc/apt/sources.list file and associated directories control where you can install packages from. You can add repositories either from the Web GUI or edit the file(s) directly. When you say "from a flash drive", what do you mean? Do you mean you installed PVE from a flash drive?

Yes, I burned the ISO to a flash drive using Balena Etcher and installed Proxmox on a mini PC. I don't believe I've added, removed or modified any repositories since. At least not on purpose.

Thanks!

So the updates I've been getting over the last several months were from the enterprise repo? I've added the link to pve-no-subscription.list so I should ok from now on?
