Hi guys,

I'm having this issue...The server has repeatedly shut down for a couple of days in a row after a few hours running. No traces on the syslog that might hint at anything...just, running, then the next line you see is the next boot sequence next day, when I find out. I have proxmox running on a tiny Intel NUC with 16GB of RAM and a 120GB SSD, connected to a NAS for the machines storage. Any idea how can I trace the issue? Maybe overheating? How can I track it down?

Thanks a lot!

In my experience, mysterious shutdowns are most often due to power supply issues. If you have the option of trying a different power supply, I would start there.

Thanks for your kind reply. It might be related, indeed, but given it's a NUC and has passive heating, I put the blame on the extra core I gave to one of the VMs without really noticing. I reckon it was a bit strained and overheating, then got emergency shutdown with no warning. I'll need something to control the temps from proxmox for the next time.

Thanks!
