Hello,

we have different subnets ...

195.167
195.226
217.9.

now i have a proxmox server on 217.9. running ... with vmbr0 device.

When i now add a kvm vm with ip from 195.167 ... the machine cannot use the IP.

How to configure this right in proxmox ?

Until now we used vmware esxi .. .there all was running out of the box with different ip subnets.

THX and best wishes

Niels

This should actually work.

I would check done basic things first.

If you put the vm on the other 'working' subnet - does it work?

Try use a different virtual Ethernet card. I have has some funnies at a driver level that stop machines working.
