Moving VM in a cluster to a specific LVM

New to Proxmox, but we are moving to it for my office to run our VMs. I need to migrate a VM from one node (I think that is the right term, a specific host in the cluster) to another node. The node I am moving to has limited storage on the installation drive, but I have created anothe LVM that can hold VM Storage. How do I specify in the migration of the VM to go to the larger LVM?

I hope that makes sense, still getting used to the correct terminology. Gentle correction is appreciated!

I see two easy ways:

1) just restore that VM on the new destination using your backup. You can choose the Storage to use in the "Restore: VM" dialogue.

2) Some constellations (not all!) offer "Target storage: xxx" in the live (!) "Migrate VM 1234" dialogue. This requires "the rest" of the system to be compatible of course, especially the configured CPU. Offline Migration seems not to have this capability.

Good luck :)

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the suggestions. In the end, I was able to get it to restore to the smaller disk and then move the storage. I haven't gotten my backups setup yet, so that wasn't an option, but nice to know that it can be in the future.
