Moving VM from one server to an other one

Hi everybody,

we try to move a ProxMox-VM from one Server to an other Server.

My Problem is, that the ID of the old VM ist allready in Use on the new Server.

I think this Question was asked 1000 times in the past, but I could not find only one thread.

Can anybody help? Is there a good Workaround?

1. Backup
2. Move Backup file to new server
3. Restore specifying a new ID.

This should work.
