Hello everyone,

I am getting a new system and want to move my old node to the new server. I am running a zfs Raid on the boot drive (2 SATA SSDs) and a couple of VMs (including TrueNAS).

Now my question, how do I do that? I want to move the HDDs to the new server too.
Can I just clone the boot drive and remove the HDDs and plug them into the new Server? If yes how?

In summary: move old to new and keep TrueNAS Drives and VMs.

I would install proxmox from scratch on the new server, would insert the hdd's and import the zfs of the hdds.
Then you can copy the config files from /etc/pve/local/qemu-server to the new server.

After that, every vm should be there and be able to boot
