Moving .raw file to another server via migrate

i have node1/storage1 and node2/storage2 i can migrate form node 1 to node 2 but the VM does not get move over is there something i am missing i know i have the store with no restriction and it shared out

i was under the impression that migrate move both the data file and the VM to another storage form the web interface do i need to access the cli as well to move the actual raw data
 
Is there anything in the task log of the migration that hints to any problems?

Can you show the configuration of the VM? Run qm config <VMID> on the CLI and post the output in [code][/code] tags.
 
the only wherid i saw that it did nto work if the folder was not there once i created the folder i was able to move it around everywhere

unless i missed something
 
it fixed now but it make no sense i have a cluster of 5 and if i created folder 136 in node 2 i could them migrate it over if that folder does not exist i could not migrate it anywhere and the folder i only created on node 2
