I would like to log the startup of VMs. I want to send an email as soon as a VM starts. Is that possible? If so, how?

I use Uptime Kuma (docker) to monitor my VMs. It can send me an e-mail when the VM or host is up or down. Plus it can monitor latency, services and etc. Real easy to set up and configure.

Thanks for your tip. I couldn't quickly find whether the VMs need a client. If not, it's worth a look as it looks slim and focuses on the essentials.
