Modify pmgconfig dns.hostname

Hi,
I've just installed PMG 5.0 and I want to ask were the both template variables dns.hostname and dns.domain are set. Background is that I want to match the PTR Record with the HELO message of postfix.

dns.hostname is read from /etc/hostname

dns.domain is from /etc/resolv.conf

What is if I have only one IP for SMTP, a load balancer in front, like pfSense, some Proxmox mail gateways and all have to use the same DNS reverse entry for HELO?
Is there a way to overwrite myhostname?
This is only a theoretical question, there is still no need for such a scenario.
