I have a cluster where one node didn't like UEFI installation so I had to switch to legacy, while the others are using EFI mode. Is this an issue?

no, this is definitely pose no problems.
The only difference really should be confined to host administration, as you might have different bootloader (GRUB vs. systemd-boot) in your fleet. But as w.r.t. usage/clustering, it does not make a difference.
