just came across these which look like they would affect proxmox. wanted to get the word out before trying them.
root access to the host through the floppy driver, http://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-security/cve/2015/CVE-2015-3456.html
dos in vnc http://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-security/cve/2015/CVE-2015-1779.html
redhat/ubuntu mitigate venom through selinux and apparmor respectively. does proxmox have a way to mitigate this?
what about vnc?
