missing templates?

I tried to load some templates using the shell command "pveam update". it said everything was successful, but when I went to create a container, I only see one option listed "debian-12-standard_12.7-1_amd64.tar.zst". Shouldn't there be more installed or do I need to load them a different way?

The man pages are usually helpful in deciphering what a command option does : man pveam
pveam update Update Container Template Database.
pveam available [OPTIONS] List available templates.
pveam download <storage> <template> Download appliance templates.
pveam list <storage> Get list of all templates on storage
