Hi everybody,

I am planing to migrate a physical file server, SuSE Linux 9.2 with Knernel 2.6.8, running on a Machine with AMD K6 CPU to a VM under proxmox, using the method with Clonezilla Live CD ( http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Migrati...roxmox_VE_.28KVM.29_using_Clonezilla_Live_CDs ).
Everything clear so far, but which is the best virtual CPU to use for that? I could imagine 486, athlon, kvm32, qemu32.

Thank you for suggestions!

Greetings
Michael

AFAIK, Linux if very CPU tolerant.
AMD K6 means you have old 32-bit system, so you can choose almost any CPU type.
