Migrating Ubuntu VM from XCP-NG to Proxmox causes kernel panic

I'm trying to migrate some VMs from xcp-ng to proxmox. I'm following the same process I did for the windows VMs but I have no idea what to do with the drivers. It appears that the vioscsi drivers aren't installed or recognized by default, and I'm getting stuck at initramfs.

Any advice?

By removing the xen drivers, exporting the vhd, importing the vhd, then booting to recovery to inject the vioscsi driver.
