Hi all,

I have CentOS 5 with HyperVM (from lxcenter) , both OS and HyperVM is EOL now, so i need to upgrade ASAP. All of VPSes (as well as setup on new Proxmox) are OpenVZ only.

Could anyone advise me on what would be the best way of transfering all VPSes to ProxMox ? Would it be reasonable creating VPSes first on proxmox manualy first and then moving files manualy (which folders should be preserved then ?) ? Or maybe there is more easy way of doing this ?

Or maybe there is an easier way to do this using OpenVZ itself somehow ?

Any hints would be muhc appreciated !
Thanks

Do I understand you correctly that you're running OpenVZ inside of your Hyper-V and want to migrate?

If you also want to upgrade CentOS 5 to a newer version, just reinstall and reconfigure all servers. I'm unfamiliar with CentOS 5 upgrade path, but for RHEL 5, there exist no direct upgrade path.
