Hallo,
I have a win10 raw image file created with bhyve/FreeBSD. It works well on this platform. But I want to move the VMs to Proxmox.
I copied one the image file and imported it like this:
qm importdisk 100 win10_disk.img data
And selected uefi and SATA during VM creation. And also set the boot disk (there is only one).
Boot starts and shows rotating dots. After some moments a Windows error message is shown that something went wrong. This repeats some times and then Windows starts in repair mode. So the image file seems to be ok in general.
I tried also "virtio-block" but that did not improve it.
I have no idea how to track down the topic further - any ideas what I can try? Has anyone managed to import such an image?
Thanks,
Peter
