Migrating from 1.5 to 1.7

Hi,

we have a old machine with Proxmox 1.5 an a new machine with Proxmox 1.7. I want to migrate the virtual machines from the old to the new machine. Is it necessary to upgrade the old machine to 1.7?

offline migrate should work without problems.
