As the title says, if I shut down the Windows Server 2022 VM and move it from an Intel host to an AMD host and the CPU was set to host. Is there any chance of long term issues or instabilities? Appreciate the feedback!
long term not but short term. you may have to reconfigure your vm hardware and reactivate licenses due to the hardware change.
you should test this by copying (or restoring a backup) the vm to the new host and booting it up there (maybe disable networking for the vm to avoid ip collisions with the running vm on the original host)
