Hi!

We are testing HA cluster of 4 nodes on Proxmox 4.0. When we simulate a dead node by taking out the LAN cable, VM from that node migrates to other nodes for 2-4 minutes. Is it possible to reduce the switching time to seconds?
And the second question - VM migrates from a dead node with restart. Is it possible to switch in pause (suspend)?

No, that is not possible with watchdog fencing. But we plan to support active fence devices in future, and that will allow shorter failover times if the fence device is fast enough.

Sorry, I don't get that question?

Thanks for your reply.

Second question I mean can the VM starts on new node in the state before its node is down? I understand that VM can't online migrate from dead node, but can it switch to suspend and resume after migration?
