Hi All,
pve 8.2.7
A massive thank you to all who have contributed here in supporting home users and of course to the developers of this amazing piece of software.

I have a physical PC with a std. deb12 zfs on root installation with an rpool (/) and bpool (/boot) on a two disk mirror and an unfortunate stripe disk on the bpool that I will remove when doing a zfs send from the PC.

I have created a target vm from pve 8.2 (since it has zfs pre rolled) with two disk mirror and zfs as fs. I have network access between the source PC (running) and the target vm.

The source PC uses grub on an efi partition.

Can anyone please tell me if I have to recreate an identical efi partition in my vm or if I can use SeaBIOS to mount bpool and rpool & then boot ?

Best regards, oz
P.S. As you can tell I am very new to V.E.s
