Memory usage

Hi All, I'm trying to understand my proxmox memory.

The GUI is saying my ram usage is ~8gb


...but meminfo is saying:

cat /proc/meminfo
MemTotal:       32847688 kB
MemFree:          170716 kB

and free -m

total       used       free     shared    buffers     cached
Mem:         32077      31899        178          0        496      22921
-/+ buffers/cache:       8480      23597
Swap:        15359          0      15359

Ideally I'd love to get a list of the VM's and their memory consumtion. Im unsure if this is correct

I dont know if Im using all my ram or a bit, anyone shed some light on this?

So everything is correct. Or what do you think is the problem?

Sorry should have been more clear, The gui is saying 8gb is used but I think they system is saying that all 32gb is being used.

No, your system says 8GB is used (remaining memory is used for buffers/cache)

So sorry, it was my mis-understanding of free. I didnt understand the cache element. Thanks for helping out the noob question
