Memory Usage seems high on PVE GUI

Hi Everyone,
PVE GUI is showing the high usage of the memory but when i check it on linux Ubuntu server it is showing very less. I ran the top -i and htop command. Ram is normal.

Why there is lots of difference between the PVE GUI and Ubuntu htop.

Hey,

do you have Ballooning[1] enabled? Without it the host has to assume that every part of the RAM the VM touched is in use, the host cannot really tell if the VM does not use certain parts of memory anymore, which might lead to the host showing a higher usage than there actually is. So enabling Ballooning will very likely resolve your problem.
