MDS cannot be activated

Hi guys!
I have two nodes on cluster, and two 2T disks in one of node. I tried to setup MDS server, but the states of them are standby.
I was delete ceph for several times following the guide in this post: https://dannyda.com/2021/04/10/how-...ph-and-its-configuration-from-proxmox-ve-pve/
When I was reinstalling ceph, there was an error that cp kering failed. I forgot the specific error message

Your cluster is missing at least one OSD. You cannot run Ceph with only two nodes. The MDS will not get active because no PG is active. It cannot create its metadata.

With only two nodes you are better off by using DRBD for shared storage. There is a Proxmox plugin by Linbit available.

Many thanks for your explanation, I will try to deploy Ceph when I have the third pc.
