Master showing wrong IP address

Hello, I’ve just added a new node to my PMG gateway, and all is not well.

My master node is IP x.x.x.228, and the slave is x.x.x.227. When I try to add the slave to the master, the 'join' information shows the master as IP x.x.x.238. The master and slave do not sync.

I’ve checked the IP of the master on the console which confirms the IP as .228 using IP ADDRESS SHOW, as does the ‘Interfaces’ panel with the Configuration: System page. The console does not report any other interfaces.

If I look in the SYSLOG, the master is trying to create a tunnel to the slave using the .238 address.

Both PMGs are version 5.1-2.

Anybody got any ideas?

Run pmgcm status. You should see the wrong IP there. If so, update the /etc/pmg/cluster.conf file and make sure that the IP is correct there. Run pmgcm sync on any already joined nodes (if there are any) to synchronise.
