Management Interface Traffic and Backup Traffic

I was under the impression that the management interface was tied to bond0 only and uses this by default but I've got a machine setup with 2 bonds and it's working on both interfaces. I've attached a screenshot of my network configuration. I don't mind the management being on multiple networks so much, but I need to make certain that my backup traffic is not going to use bond 1. Can anyone confirm?

I would say that depends on how you configured your backup.

i.e. NFS backup on 10.17.1.x network will only go across this network? vs. NFS backup configured on 10.69.1.x network will go across the vm network?

Is it that simple?

NFS will do tcp connection to the NFS server - whatever route you configured.
