Hello
I'm aware of the thread : http://www.proxmox.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1417

but my problem is worse.

When I install proxmox 1.3 (and also 1.2) everything seems to go right, and I even get the make boot-able done, but when I try to boot the system, my bootloader finds no OS.

Server: Fujitsu Siemens Econel 100 S2
no raid defined in the BIOS LSI (ICH9R SATA) raidcontroller
2 * 500 GB disks
and the thing works with both window and Fedore 11 boots

anything to help me would be highly appriciated

the proxmox installer finished successfully?

if yes, it looks like the system looks for the grub loader on the wrong disk. change the boot order list (HDD´s) in the mainboard bios.

the proxmox installer only uses one disk in your system by default.

yes, everything looks fine, no errormessages,

I think, that I'm only usin /dev/sda for proxmox, and most of the times it only telling me "no OS found", but once (only once of many) it told me
grub
Error 2
(...and it do not say much to me)
