If my mail server is down, does the Gateway cache my mails for delivery?

Also

Can the administrator view mails in the in this cache (if their is one)

Here is the dumbest question because I'm sure I know the answer?
Is there a Grey List Cache.
(My answer - now the sender is responded to with a undeliverable status).

Thanks

yes, there is a mailqueue, you can see detail in the web interface under "Administration/Queues/Mail"

Not via web interface. If your mail server is up again, all queued mails will be delivered. you can force this by clicking on "flush queue".

greylisting does not need a "cache". proxmox builds up a greylisting database where "good" senders are stored. this works automatically in the background.
