Hello everyone.

I have been a longtime user of ProxMox 3.4

After getting a new OVH server, I can see I do not have the option to use 3.4. I could install 3.4 manually ontop of Debian - But I'd also like to give Proxmox 4 a try

However, I am using this for a virtual hosting envoirment - And I read everywhere that LXC is not fully yet ready for this?

How far away is LXC today from OpenVZ? Will I still be able to do backups without shutting them down? etc?

Thanks!
Kevin

LXC is production ready.

Yes this is possible.
