LXC consoles sometimes work, other times have no prompt

New to Proxmox. I have a few LXC containers. Sometimes the console tab for the containers works normally, but sometimes if I navigate away to another container tab and then come back to the console, I'm greeted with a black screen with no prompt. I can type but it doesn't accept any input. Using PVE 8.3.4 in Firefox. The containers still function normally and I can access the container console by going to the PVE shell and entering pct enter <ct id>. But not having the console tab work is a bit of a nuisance. Any solution?

Happens to me as well, but I hit enter first and I get the prompt.

open the console of the lxc via proxmox gui then pres the "enter" key? its works?

I just starting getting this today on a new LXC Debian 13 container...some reddit posts point to IPv6 but tried all options there nothing works. Ideas?

Change LXC Options / Console mode to /dev/console, full shutdown LXC and cold-boot it - should work

Actually for me turned out this was related to Nesting on new community scripts that I used and selected NO to nesting. Once I redeployed them with nesting enabled all works as expected. The previous scripts did not give the choice now they do default is YES and I changed to NO but that was my issue.
