wir haben hier einen neuen Produktivserver mit 2x 120 GB SSD (RAID1) + 8x 2TB HDD (RAID10), auf welchem KVM-vServer zum Einsatz kommen sollen. Die Basisinstallation mit dem Proxmox-Installer auf das SSD-RAID1 ist bereits erfolgt, jetzt möchte ich das RAID10 als VM-Storage einrichten. Kurze Rückfrage zur Vorgehensweise:
Anschliessend über die Weboberfläche über "Datacenter -> Storage -> Add: LVM-Thin" den Speicherplatz eingerichtet. Ist die Vorgehensweise so korrekt? Bisher kam bei uns lediglich normaler LVM-Storage zum Einsatz, wo in der Weboberfläche nur die VG ausgewählt werden musste - zusätzlich mussten für Snapshots einige GB freigelassen werden. Ist dies bei LVM-Thin noch immer notwendig bzw. gibt es spezifische Punkte auf welche man bei Erstellung der Volumes unbedingt achten sollte?
