lshw PVE 9x

I dont seem to find the lshw package in repos, which seems a bit odd - this is on PVE 9x

It's in trixie as expected. What is the output of apt update? Double check the repositories you configured: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#sysadmin_package_repositories

There are no Debian repositories configured, that is why the package cannot be found. Add the Debian repository per the manual (that l already linked to): https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#_debian_base_repositories

ahh thanks .. id used POM over NFS and some other complications ... previously moving the debian repo file to .bak .. hence not picked up

thanks for the pointers - this file is now inplace
