Lost backup chunk

Hi at all,

I have lost a backup-chunk with a out of storage on a backup pool; the chunk was sent no more after growing pool and the backup verify was failed. I have moved the {pool-dir}/vm/{vmid} in {pool-dir}/vm-old/{vmid} to force a new fresh backup with the chunk lost. This workaround would be right? If the garbage collector not view chunks definition in img.fidx it could be conflict with backup. Can I return back with {pool-dir}/vm-old/{vmid}/* at the backup end?

AFAIU, you want to move the index backup to the old location after making an additional backup. yes that should be fine, i'd let a verify run after that to see if it really fixed the missing chunk

I don't really know: We have had a out of storage during a backup I think it was that .

I have thought that moving indexes of vm for the garbage collection the chunks was free during new backup.

I think it also. The backup hase finished now and the chunk has returned back . The old backup was failing because it refered the previous index.
