Looking for recommended setup

Hi,

I have my first bigger node with Proxmox and I am looking for advice on the recommended setup. While in the past I have been using single public IP and VMs via NAT behind the IP, my bigger setup is requiring more features. The IPs are random for better overview.

I have single interface on the server with public IP 213.x.x.20 with default gw 213.x.x.1
I have multiple standalone public IPs as i.e. 213.x.x.70 or213.x.x.80 with default gw 213.x.x.1 (same as the physical interface)
I have multiple networks as i.e. 214.x.x.x/24, 215.x.x.x/24 routed to this single physical interface (213.x.x.20) and the gw on the networks is set to the public IP 213.x.x.20
I have multiple VMs which I want to use with this setup either having public IP or private IP and NAT.
What is the recommended setup?
Having all traffic routed via one vmbr0 interface? In that case how do I setup the different gateway for the different VMs?
Having several vmbr interfaces with their own IPs?
Does OpenSwitch bring any advantage for my setup? I.e. tagging private traffic with VLANs?
Thank you!

Boris
