Hi all

I have a cluster version: Virtual Environment 5.1-41

After updating the Kernel on some Linux VMs in my cluster, I get a really long boot time.
Processor stays in 100% for about 20 minutes while I get a prompt blinking on the black screen. Adding more cores to the VM does not help as apparently the process is single-threaded.

When reverting to the previous kernel, the boot time comes back to normal.
By comparison a graph showing the boot time and the processor consumption. Please note that this is with 4 cores hence the 25% occupation. Previously, the server was running just fine with only one core.

Any ideas?

Thank you
