I am unable to successfully login as admin to the server due to security error created by a failed PEM certificate key handshake between server and my browser. Do I need to establish SSH DNS to get around this issue?

Do I understand you correctly, are you talking about the buildin-certificate when you calling the WebUI [0]? You should be able to confirm the certificate in your web browser.
