Hello everyone,
Since yesterday I have a strange problem with the login, I can no longer log in via PVE1 in the cluster. When logging in via another node in the cluster, this is possible.
Setup:
Cluster consisting of 3 nodes (PVE1-PVE3)
Login via Linux PAM standard authentication (+ yubico)
When logging in to PVE1 the message appears: “Login failed. Please try again”
the root login on the shell runs smoothly.
EDIT: I have just seen in the PVE1 log that the login should have gone correctly:
Jan 14 11:44:59 pve1 pvedaemon[1248]: <root@pam> successful auth for user 'root@pam'
EDIT2:
Solution found: I deactivated the 2 factor, then the login went through, but the node did not load the inventory. The solution was to restart the node with the 2 factor deactivated and to clear the communication with the command pvecm updatecerts, then the system runs error-free again.
Regards
Jens
